The Semakh train Station was the most important station along the Haifa branch of the Hijaz Railway, due to its strategic location, at the crossroads which connected Palestine, Jordan and Syria. Semakh Station made a particularly significant contribution to the development of the region around the Sea of Galilee and the Valleys in the first half of the 20th century.
Today, the site is part of the Kinneret Academic College. We were glad to be part of the restoration team by contributing the historical display of photos and texts.
