THE FLORENCE WALK THROUGH EXPERIENCE
Florence, Italy
The attraction will be in the form of a walk through experience. The visitors will walk through designed spaces and theatrical three-dimensional surroundings. The walk through will be controlled and timed and in effect the visitor will be led in small groups as in a guided tour. During the tour the visitor will pass through narrow scenic streets with "vistas" open to the "view" which exposes theatrical reconstruction of places in the city of Florence.
The visitor will enter a city plaza; will peep into a real palace kitchen and observe the studios of some of the great master of the period. They will visit the market abundant with produce, spices, meat and fish, fabrics and articles and will even enter the Duomo and climb its scaffolding.
The entire visit will be accompanied by a soundtrack, projections and effects of a three-dimensional show the heroes of which are filmed and projected among the pieces of décor. The tour itself will run for approx. 50 minutes over a course 200 meters long.
The experience is in fact a sophisticated theatrical show in which the players are filmed and the text and sound are peripheral and surround the visitor.
The spectator is not seated in one place but walks though the decor, on a ratio
of 1:1.
The experience will reach its peak in the last part of the journey, by combining 3-D screen projections and a “smart theatre”, on which the spectators sit and experience the Grand Finale.We see in this type of experience a complementary stratum, which gives the tourists the means to continue and use their imagination when they tour the city of Florence.
