Palma Aquarium – Concept Design ​

The Deep Experience is an immersive, multi-sensory attraction that invites visitors to join a scientific expedition into one of Earth's last unexplored frontiers the deep ocean.

The journey begins in a futuristic research station, where visitors wait in a themed pre-show area. Surrounding screens display authentic footage captured by robotic submersibles, introducing the extreme pressure, darkness and extraordinary life found in the abyss.

Every few minutes, groups of ten visitors enter a simulated elevator. Through synchronized lighting, sound, vibration and digital depth indicators, they experience the illusion of descending nearly 1,000 meters below sea level.

As the doors open, guests enter a transparent observation tube winding through the deep-sea environment. Bioluminescent creatures, holographic marine life and giant predators emerge from the darkness, while robotic submersibles sweep the abyss with powerful searchlights, revealing hidden schools of deep-sea fish.

Combining scenic design, multimedia, lighting, sound and special effects, The Deep Experience blurs the line between reality and illusion, creating the unforgettable feeling of exploring a world that very few people have ever seen.
